A naming ceremony is a great way to celebrate the gift of a new child and allows the parents,
grand-parents and chosen mentors (god-parents) to pledge a commitment to the child of love and protection. 

A Naming Ceremony performed by a Celebrant gives you total freedom to create a ceremony
that reflects your family's beliefs.

It is an opportunity to gather the special people in the new baby’s life
 and have them welcome the baby into the community in a most memorable way.

A Naming Ceremony may contain:

• Parents Vow
• Official naming of the baby (plus why the name was chosen)
• Appointment of Mentors (god-parents)
• Blessings or wishes for the baby
• Signing and presentation of naming certificates
• Readings, songs or music
